Meta descriptions

Meta descriptions can usually be pulled from the first couple sentences on the page. They can be a maximum of 155 characters and should always include a short call to action at the end.

Call to action examples:

  • "Learn more here"
  • "Visit here to learn more"
  • "Visit today to browse homes for sale"

Meta descriptions for real estate sites

To create engaging meta descriptions for pages on real estate websites, include info about proximity to major cities, dining, entertainment, average home values, and unique neighborhood features.

Examples:

  • "Hillsdale is a quaint neighborhood offering larger lots, quiet streets, & proximity to everything Brookhaven & Atlanta have to offer. Visit to learn more."
  • "Situated along the shores of Silver Lake, Brittany consists of both established and new homes on generous lots. Visit to learn more about this neighborhood."
